Isn’t it wild?? I have managed at last to buy myself an instrument and I am very much looking forward to learning to play it. Relative to this beastie it is very sedate but then so are most instruments! 🙂 Mine is a 1953 lute guitar. I cannot wait for her to arrive  so I can begin my studies.

The smithsonian has created a site to hold all the pictures captured by its camera traps. I loved the way domestic animals sometimes intruded and it was interesting to me that such wonderful wildlife is to be found in China.

I am half way through writing a letter for Room Three of St John’s Hill School in Wanganui. I hope they will like it 🙂

Today I had some mail from Room Three at St John’s Hill School in Wanganui. It looked like this:

Inside was a large sheaf of beautiful notes with fantastic drawings.  I loved reading them. I opened the package with a friend when we were out to lunch at a cafe and she and I kept exclaiming “how fantastic!” and “adorable!!” and “AMAZING!!!”

Watch for some new pages on this site that show off what Room Three sent me in the package! 🙂  A reply is being made Room Three!!
